Q places the senior crew of the Enterprise in a war game that pits them against a boar-faced, Napoleonic enemy. Q tries to get Riker to join the Q Continuum when he grants him the power of the Q.

This episode made me lose a little faith in Riker... not because he accepted the power, but because of how much a douche he was when he got it. I still like the episode even if the ending was a bit campy. It really hearkened back to a recurring theme in Star Trek ( TOS S1E2 Charlie X and TOS S2E2 Who Mourns for Adonis ) It just makes me question anyone who would be on a mission to explore all of the mysteries of the cosmos and is given the ability to do so. It'd work out especially well if you were in Rikers position because you'd have Picard to play the Darren to your Bewitched making sure you didn't abuse your powers.
